Healthy Mocha Smoothie

The best smoothie I’ve had in a while! Tastes like dessert, but better. Seriously! This Mocha Smoothie is so rich and creamy and delicious! You are going to be making it non-stop. But don’t worry, it’s super healthy so it’s guilt-free.

It’s sweetened with fiber-rich dates and bananas (no added sugar). I also added almond butter for creaminess (and healthy fats) and maca powder for an extra dose of nutrition! This chocolatey smoothie is decadent and super nourishing at the same time. Both cacao powder and coffee are loaded with antioxidants. Better yet, they taste amazing when combined. Coffee enhances the flavor of chocolate, making it more intense and delicious. So even if you are not a coffee fan, give this dreamy smoothie a try, you might actually like it.

This awesome smoothie is so sweet and luscious it can be an energizing breakfast, a sweet snack or a healthy dessert. It’s one of the best ways to start the day and it will keep you energized for hours.

Notes

* Frozen bananas make creamy, delicious smoothies. Bananas need to be frozen for at least 8 hours. I like to keep a stash of frozen bananas in my freezer so I can make smoothies whenever I want (all the time, actually). Peel them, cut them in half, and store them in an airtight container. The riper the bananas, the tastier and sweeter the smoothie. Green bananas = bland smoothies.
